Detailed Itinerary
After breakfast and a short safari briefing in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2hour drive. The park is well known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees that dominate the landscape.
Upon arrival, begin a full-day game drive exploring rolling savannah, acacia woodlands, and the life-giving Tarangire River. During the dry season, animals concentrate around the river, offering excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. You may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and various antelope species. The park is also home to numerous bird species, making it ideal for bird enthusiasts.
A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, followed by continued afternoon game viewing. In the late afternoon, exit the park and proceed to a public campsite for dinner and overnight under the African sky.

Depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Migration.
