Detailed Itinerary
Your adventure begins with an early morning transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Arusha (approximately 1 hour). Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, your professional driver-guide will warmly welcome you and brief you on your safari before departing for Tarangire National Park.
Often called the “Home of Elephants,” Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and sweeping savannah landscapes, and it is also home to lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and over 500 species of birds. You will enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the park followed by an extensive afternoon game drive before proceeding to your campsite near Tarangire for dinner and overnight camping, where you will fall asleep to the natural sounds of the African wilderness beneath a sky full of stars.

The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, offers one of the best opportunities to see the Big Five in a single day, including lions resting on the plains, large-tusked elephants, buffalo herds, elusive leopards in the forested areas, and the endangered black rhino, while hippos wallow in freshwater pools and thousands of zebras and wildebeest graze across the open grasslands.
