Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Zanzibar- Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning, you will transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, meet your safari guide and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire’s diverse landscape of open savannah, riverine forests, and seasonal swamps supports a wide range of wildlife. The park is particularly known for its large elephant population, often seen moving in impressive herds. You may also spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and numerous bird species.

After a picnic lunch inside the park, continue with afternoon game viewing before heading to a nearby campsite for dinner and overnight stay in dome tents with basic but comfortable facilities.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site inside the crater before ascending in the early afternoon. You will then transfer back to Arusha Airport for your afternoon flight to Zanzibar, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
