The big five animals refers to five important species that are the main reasons why people all over the
\nworld travel to Tanzania in order to get the chance to see the big five also they are seen as most hunted
\nanimals due to the unique and specialness.
\nThe Big Five Animals Are;
\n. Eephants
\n. Lions
\n. Leopards
\n. Rhino
\n. Buffalos
\nELEPHANTS;
\nElephant is the largest animal on Earth and one of the most hunted animal in the kingdom also known
\nfor their magnificent size, large ears, long trunks, intelligence and social complexity and they are mostly
\nfound at Tarangire national park they also lack protection due to poaching for ivory and habitats loss.
\nAfrica elephants have the size of 5,000 and 14,000 pounds for the bull and female are smaller around
\n3,000 to 8,000 pounds and what differentiates them from other is their trunk which is the multiskilled
\norgan that functions as a hand, nose and arm they use it during eating, social interaction,
\ncommunication and even bathing .<\/p>\n
LIONS;
\nThe lion is the most important and majestic animal on Earth that lives in a social group called as pride
\nthey are often referred to as the \u201cking of the jungle \u201c due to it royal appearance ad strength. The lions
\nare the second largest cats in the world where by male lions can weight between 3300 to 550 poundr
\nwhile female are smaller weighting 240 to 400 pounder.<\/p>\n
LEOPARDS;
\nThese are also included in the big five animals due to the challenge in hunting them on foot leopards are
\nalso companionless and secret hunters which are often referred to as the ghosts of the bush and are
\nmostly found in Serengeti and Ngorongoro national park. They like siting on trees of which they hunt in
\nthe morning and evening and store there kill high up the tree branches to prevent both lions and
\nhayena\u2019s from taking his food.<\/p>\n
RHINOS;
\nAre among the largest animals on earth and the most hunted by poachers for their horns which are
\nbought and sold on the black market for high price Tanzanian is the home for both black and white
\nrhino. Rhino can be found in Ngorngoro and Serengeti national park during the dry seasons especially in
\nNgorongoro crater.<\/p>\n
BUFFALO;
\nThe buffalo nis the member of big five which be found in all Tanzania national park they are known for
\ntheir antagonistic behavior in which they also live in large groups and eat gras<\/p>\n
