Arusha is a fast \u2013 expanding town in Tanzania northern tourist circuit and the seat of the East African community Tanzania tourist mecca attracts nearly 70% of all tourist who visit Tanzania every year located 1640 meters [5,053 ft] above the sea level the town is the starting point for many safaris to the world-famous Serengeti national park, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire, Mount Meru and Arusha national park. It has a vast number of safari companies, hotel and curio shops packed with hand craft carvings and gemstone it also the central point in Africa between Cape Town<\/strong> and Cairo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kilimanjaro international Airport [KIA] about 40 kms from Arusha town KIA has both international and local flight airline and charters include the state -run Air Tanzania corporation and KLM at Boma Road and corsair at Novotel hotel along Arusha Moshi Road half way to old Moshi Road and Air Excel at Njiro road and precision air service at the Arusha international conference center there are car rental companies for easy transport to Arusha and Moshi tours.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 BUSES; <\/strong>There are several buses travelling between Dar es salaam, Arusha and the Kenyan capital Nairobi.<\/p>\n

BANKS AND BUREAUX;<\/strong> Local banks offers several to customers starting at 8:30 am to 3:30 pm from Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 12:30 pm on Saturdays also bureau de change are scattered in major tourist hotel found in the town.<\/p>\n

Taxis; <\/strong>Taxis can be found at various places within the town and key tourist hotels.<\/p>\n

BUSES;<\/strong> There a lot of mini bases passing between the town center and its suburbs charging a minimum of Tsh 200 per trip.<\/p>\n

CAR RENTALS;<\/strong> Being a tourist town and the seat of the East Africa Community Arusha has many car rental companies which transport to the world famous national parks also visitors with valid international license can hire vehicles from the tours operators for site seeing.<\/p>\n
