Your journey begins with a morning pickup from your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport, followed by a scenic 2.5 to 3-hour drive to Arusha National Park. En route, keep an eye out for giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes. Upon arrival at Momella Gate<\/strong>, your guides will handle park formalities and permits.<\/p>

Accompanied by an armed park ranger, you'll begin your trek across open grasslands, with wildlife frequently visible along the way. After breakfast, the trail ascends steeply via wooden steps into the thick rainforest. As you gain altitude, the air becomes cooler, making for a more comfortable trek. After about 2 hours, you'll reach the \"Mgongo wa Tembo\" viewpoint<\/strong> (Elephant Back, 3,200m), an ideal rest spot with breathtaking views.<\/p>

Continuing upwards, the scenery changes to moorland and heather, and by midday, you'll reach Saddle Hut<\/strong>, your base for the summit ascent. Enjoy a hearty lunch and rest early, as your summit attempt begins shortly after midnight.<\/p>
