Itinerary – Day 1: Arusha → Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha

Your day begins early with a 7:00 AM departure from your hotel in Arusha. Accompanied by a professional driver-guide, you’ll travel in comfort through the Tanzanian highlands toward Ngorongoro. The drive takes approximately three hours, offering glimpses of rural life and expansive landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival at the crater rim, prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime descent into the 600-meter-deep caldera, where a world of wildlife awaits. You’ll explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, black rhinos, cheetahs, hippos, zebras, and more. At around 3:00 PM, you’ll begin your ascent from the crater and return to Arusha, arriving at your hotel by approximately 6:00 PM, filled with incredible sights and stories from your day in the wild.
