The journey begins early in the morning with departure from Arusha or Moshi, heading north toward the remote volcanic landscapes of Lake Natron in the Great Rift Valley. As the route approaches Lake Natron, Ol Doinyo Lengai rises prominently above the plains, holding deep spiritual significance for the Maasai people.
