Tarangire is renowned for its massive elephant herds, but you’ll also encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and predators such as lions and leopards.

Around midday, pause for a picnic lunch inside the park, enjoying your meal surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, continue with another game drive, exploring the river valleys and swamps where wildlife gathers. As the day ends, transfer to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Upon entering the Central Serengeti, set out immediately on a morning game drive across the vast savannahs and rocky kopjes. You’ll also encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebras, especially during migration season, creating dramatic wildlife interactions.
