Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar to the Ndutu Airstrip, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your safari guide and immediately set out for a game drive across the Ndutu plains. This region is world-famous for the Great Migration’s calving season, which takes place between January-March. During this time, thousands of wildebeest calves are born each day, creating one of nature’s most dramatic spectacles. The abundance of newborns attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, offering thrilling wildlife encounters. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing with an afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, you’ll transfer to your Ndutu camp for dinner and overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness.

For those seeking a unique perspective, you may choose to book an optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise. Floating silently above the plains, you’ll witness the migration from the air and enjoy a champagne breakfast upon landing an unforgettable experience. Throughout the day, you’ll continue with game drives, pausing for a picnic lunch in the bush to maximize your time in the field.
