Tanzania have 22 national parks that covers fifteen percent of the country land all this national parks
are under or managed by Tanzania national park authority [TANAPA] . In which through these national
park in a very big percent because people from all over the world visit Tanzania and the mostly the
national parks .
The following are the national parks found in Tanzania;
Serengeti national park;
This is the most known park due to it great migration of millions wild beast, zebras and gazelles move
on an epic journey across the plains
Ngorongoro national park;
This is a famous park due to it large creator which was caused by a dormant volcano offering a
diverse environment with copious [abundant wildlife including the big five animals.
Tarangire national park;
This is a national park in which its enable you to see lake manyara home to flamingo and flock also
rift valley escarpment and big groups of elephant.
Arusha national park;
This is the park that is found in the foothills of Mount Meru and its where you will find that beautiful
Africa 5th highest mountain also it’s the home to giraffe, zebra and buffalo without forgetting the
flamingoes.
Mikumi national park;
This is a park in Tanzania known for its several wildlife and accessibility and its located near
Morogoro, Tanzania which is the fourth largest national park also the home of the big five, several
birdlife and unique wildlife like the sable antelope and Africa hunting dog.
Lake Manyara National Park;
This is a park with different habitats including the alkaline flamingos and the rift valley escarpment
located in Arusha region of north Tanzania.
Ruaha National Park;
Is the park hidden in Tanzania known for it unique offering veriable safari experience and Ruaha is
located in southern part of Tanzania with different kind of wildlife like large Elephant, Lions ,unique
Antelopes and rich birds and also allow activities such as

It great visiting Ruaha National Park is during the dry seasons which is June to October which makes it
easy to spot wildlife.
Gombe Stream National Park;
Is a small national park but important park in Tanzania and it is located in western cost region of
Tanzania along the sea side of lake Tanganyika and it’s in the Kigoma regions [about 16 kilometers north
of Kigoma city]
Mahale Mountains National Parks;
Is the park located in western Tanzania on the eastern said of lake Tanganyika in the Kigoma region
south of Kigoma city offering a unique and unforgettable wildlife experience.
Katavi National Park;
Is the national park found in the Katavi Region which is southwestern Tanzania. In Katavi nationala park
you will get a chance to see unique birds, diverse wildlife, massive buffalo herds
